Serbia’s foreign trade deficit almost eur 7 billion

In 2021, the total foreign trade of Serbia amounted to 50.2 billion euros, which is 25 percent more than in the previous year, 2020.
Goods worth a total of 21.6 billion euros were exported, which is an increase of 26.8 percent, while import increased by 24.6 percent and it amounted to 28.6 billion euros, said the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Thus, the foreign trade deficit reached 6.98 billion euros and it was 18.3 percent higher than in 2020. The coverage of import by export was 75.6 percent.
