Serbia’s opposition demands special meeting on parliament work

The members of Serbia’s opposition who spent a night inside the parliament building in a protest over not being allowed to voice their views of the draft budget for 2019, demanded on Friday a special meeting with all deputy clubs' chiefs to discuss the work of the legislative body, the Beta news agency reported.

The opposition MPs said on Thursday night they would hold news conferences every two hours to allow each party MP group to voice their objections to the draft budget. “This is a parallel, open parliament.
