Maja Pavlovic's hunger strike in front of the REM building

The Channel 9 owner, Maja Pavlovic, who has been on a hunger strike for the past 20 days, arrived in front of the Regulatory body for Electronic Media in Belgrade (REM) on Saturday, claiming that the functioning of her television station and many other media in Serbia is threatened because of the inaction of the state and judicial institutions.
She was accompanied by colleagues from the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS). Pavlovic continued her strike in front of the REM, on Friday, before meeting the REM representatives. The same day, The Prime Minister invited her to a meeting on Tuesday, May 7, by which time the Serbian Prime Minister will receive the written answer from all the institutions Pavlovic spoke with previously.
