The coach of the Serbian national basketball team, Svetislav Pešić, announced the names of the 12 players who will participate in the Olympic Games.
Pešić thanked Ognjen Jaramaz, Aleksa Radanov, Aleksej Pokuševski and Dušan Ristić from a wider list. This means that the basketball team of Serbia in Paris will consist of: Aleksa Avramović Vasilije Micić Bogdan Bogdanovic Marko Gudurić Vanja Marinković Ognjen Dobrić Nikola Jovic Dejan Davidovac Filip Petrushev Nikola Jokic Nikola Milutinov Uroš Plavšić Serbia is in a group with South Sudan, Puerto Rico and the USA, with whom they will open the tournament on Sunday
