Serbian government raises lowest pensions

The Serbian government has decided to give pensioners with the lowest income a five percent raise, the government said on its web site on Wednesday.
The five percent raise will be paid to some 1.3 old pensioners up to November 2019, it said. “Beneficiaries of old age, early, invalid and family pensions who received monthly payments of up 34,0003.90 Dinars (1 Euro – 118 Dinars) will be paid the raise,” the government decree said, adding that the once-off raise that pensioners received with their November 10 payment will continue until November next year.
