Skopje to introduce tramcars in public transportation

The city of Skopje, the Macedonian capital, plans to empower the public transportation in 2019 by adding the tramcars, the Mayor Petre Silegov, said on Wednesday, the Beta news agency reported, quoting Sakam da kazam local website.
An estimated cost for the first phase which includes a line across the city, building the depot and purchasing of street-cars is between 130 and 150 million Euros. “That is not too expensive considering the price of 80 million Euros for Chinese double-deckers which have not solved the public transport problems.
