IFJ condemns pressure on journalists in Serbia

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) condemned all forms of pressure and intimidation against journalists in Serbia, an IFJ official told Radio Free Europe on Thursday.

Deputy General Secretary Jeremy Dear also demanded a safe environment free of fear and threats for journalists, adding that a large number of Serbian journalists were worried about censorship and a lack of objectivity in the public broadcaster (RTS) and other media.
