German ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt described on Friday Kosovo Serb students’ performance ‘Kosovoschwitz’ as a disgusting allusion to the Holocaust, saying their position could not be compared to the ordeal the Serbs and other peoples in the Balkans went through during the Nazi occupation, the Beta news agency reported.
Kosovo Serb university students on Thursday put up barbed wire fence in front of a student restaurant to portray their everyday lives in protest over the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia. They said the goal of their performance was to show that they lived in a concentration camp with curbed movement and limited right to speak Serbian.
