Drug trafficking a priority for the Serbian police, minister says

Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Friday that the fight against drug trafficking is “the absolute priority for the police”.
Speaking to reporters during a visit to the police station in the town of Lucani, the minister said that his goal is to reinforce the police all over Serbia and increase the seizure of narcotics. “That will be the absolute priority because we want to demonstrate that narcotics have no place near our children and in our country,” a ministry press release quoted him as saying.
