Fire at Serbia’s UN mission in New York

A fire broke out at Serbia’s United Nations embassy in New York on Sunday night, the foreign ministry said in a press release.

The ministry said that two offices were caught up in the blaze, adding that no one was injured. Firefighters put out the fire in Serbia’s permanent mission to the UN, the press release said. “The services in charge of determining the causes of the fire suspect that it was caused by faulty electrical installations,” the foreign ministry said.
