Serbia’s Gendarmerie always ready, minister says

The Serbian Gendarmerie is always ready to protect Serbia and every one of its citizens, Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said during a visit to that formation’s Belgrade detachment.
“Gendarmerie personnel are engaged if Serbia needs to be protected from terrorism and extremism and when our citizens need to be protected from all potential danger as well in keeping the peace,” the minister is quoted as saying in a ministry press release.
