Reforms focused on electronic administration, Serbian prime minister says

The reforms of the Serbian public administration are focused on electronic services as a way to raise transparencey levels, cut down corruption and increase efficiency, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic wrote in an opinion piece for the New Year’s issue of Belgrade daily Blic.

As the best example of electronic administration, Brnabic cited the project Welcome to the World Baby through which 120,000 newborn children were registered. “More than 600,000 hours of senseless waiting in lines was saved and we ended the year completing the second stage of the project which allows new parents to apply for income support,” she wrote.
