Citizens’ Initiatives have no problem whatsoever taking state money while simultaneously calling the authorities “criminal”, “illegitimate” and “usurping”, and Serbia a “captured state”.
With such a narrative, Citizens’ Initiatives, without any hesitation, take millions of dinars precisely from that very state. When it comes to practice on the ground, the situation is even more disheartening, because Citizens’ Initiatives lack concrete action in the process of Serbia’s European integration, which sharply contradicts their proclaimed values and objectives. Is this merely hypocrisy at work, or something far more serious? Who is deceiving whom here?
