J. A. from Belgrade Arrested on Suspicion of Official Fraud

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Anti-Corruption Service and the Criminal Police Directorate, acting on the order of the Special Department for Combating Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kraljevo, have arrested J.
A. (1986) from Belgrade, the responsible person of two associations from Jagodina, on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense of official fraud. It is suspected that from April to December 2021, J. A. submitted false statements and forged copyright contracts, thereby misleading the authorized person to unlawfully pay a total of 1,280,000 dinars from the budget of the city of Jagodina.
