Kos: „Super Tuesday for EU Enlargement, Candidates Making Major and Important Steps“

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated in Brussels that today is a „Super Tuesday“ for the enlargement of the European Union ( EU) due to accession conferences with four candidate countries on the same day.
Kos posted on X that so many conferences being held on the same day is happening for the first time in more than 20 years, with Montenegro, Ukraine, Moldova, and Albania participating today. „Our frontrunners Ukraine, Moldova, Albania, and Montenegro are all making major steps forward,“ Kos stated, adding that Montenegro is at the head of this group as the most advanced country in the accession negotiations.
