Tehran Warns Bulgaria Not to Allow Use of Its Territory for US Attacks on Iran

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today warned Bulgaria not to allow the United States to use its territory for military operations against Iran.
The Bulgarian government earlier announced that it would seek parliamentary approval to station up to eight US tanker aircraft at an air base in the country, a NATO and EU member, Reuters reports. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghei said that any activity facilitating US attacks on Iran is tantamount to complicity in what he called „aggression and war crimes,“ according to Iranian state media.
