European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced today that the European Union ( EU) is providing support to Colombia after an earthquake of magnitude 7.4 killed more than 100 people and destroyed thousands of buildings and homes. „As search and rescue operations continue, the EU is providing support to Colombia wherever possible,“ von der Leyen wrote on X. She stated that the EU is making two million euros in aid available to communities in the
