Solar eclipse on August 12: Which Serbian cities will be able to see it and why the viewing location matters

The second solar eclipse of the year will take place on August 12 and will be a total eclipse. Astronomer and president of the Rudjer Boskovic Astronomical Society, Vladimir Gasic, told Newsmax Balkans which cities in Serbia will be able to see the eclipse and when it will occur.

Unlike countries located along the path of totality, people in Serbia will see only a partial eclipse. Nevertheless, the event deserves attention, particularly because it will occur shortly before sunset.
