Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Serbia for an official two-day visit, where he was welcomed at Nikola Tesla Airport by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Belgrade Tower was illuminated in the colors of the flags of Uzbekistan and Serbia.
Mirziyoyev arrived in Belgrade with his wife, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and they were welcomed by Aleksandar and Tamara Vucic in the presence of members of the diplomatic corps. The Uzbek delegation was received with full state honors, including a red carpet, a guard of honor from the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the traditional bread and salt ceremony.
