Eight police officers arrested suspected of beating and torturing the brother of man accused of murdering D.I.

Acting on the orders of Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Niš, officers from Ministry of Interior's Internal Affairs Sector have arrested eight police officers from Ministry's Criminal Police Directorate (UKP), on suspicion that they beat and tortured D.D.
N.P., M.Lj., B.M., I.T., M.S., M.B. and Z.Dj., all from Belgrade, and J.K. from Nova Pazova, have been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the injured person, in conjunction with the criminal offence of abuse and torture committed jointly.
