Serbia’s official: Vucic won’t use force if Kosovo Serbs’ lives aren't in danger

Marko Djuric, the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo, said on Monday only President and the army Commander-in-Chief Aleksandar Vucic was authorised to decide on any countermeasure against Pristina’s moves, the Beta news agency reported.
He told the state RTS television Vucic was against using force which would only be “the last option in case the lives of the Kosovo Serbs were imperilled.” Djuric said he hoped that would never happen and that Serbia’s officials had warned the international partners about “how dangerous (the introduction of Pristina’s) new measures (against Belgrade) would be.” Kosovo imposed the 100 percent customs duties on goods from Serbia and Bosnia last
