EU expects Serbia to impose sanctions on Russia

Spokesperson of the European Union, Ana Pisonero, has told the Nova.rs portal that the EU expects from Serbia to gradually harmonize with their foreign policy, which includes the introduction of restrictive measures, i.e. the introduction of sanctions against Russia.
When asked whether Serbia’s entry into the EU, i.e. accession negotiations, could be influenced by its position on the war in Ukraine and its refusal to impose sanctions on Russia, Pisonero replied that the decision on enlargement was in the hands of the member states.
