Croatian police on their feet: 60 people arrested

About 60 people were arrested today in the police operation of the Office for the Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime (Uskok), conducted throughout Croatia.
The operation was carried out due to suspicion of tax evasion and corruption, Croatian media reported. According to unofficial information from the Index portal, the organizers of this criminal group were looking for interested company owners in order to issue them false invoices, with which they then reduced their tax obligations. The arrest operation was carried out in several counties, and USKOK, as announced, will make a decision on further action in the case
