Serbian swimmer Andrej Barna once again shined at the World Championships in Singapore and qualified for the finals of the 50-meter freestyle race.
He beat all his rivals in the second semi-final group, finishing the race with a time of 21.45 seconds. That result is only one hundredth slower than his personal and national record in Serbia. He had the third overall time in the semi-final races. Only Olympic champion Cameron McEvoy with 21.30 and American Jack Alexy with 21.32 were faster.
