The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced that if Serbia does not receive a gas agreement with Russia by Friday, it will begin negotiations on procuring gas from another source as early as Monday.
"Regarding gas, if we don’t receive the agreement by Friday, on Monday we will start negotiations and we will purchase gas elsewhere," Vučić said. He added that citizens should not worry about this. He made the statement at a press conference at the Presidency after a meeting with the teams responsible for the country’s energy stability and security.
