Justice Minister: Serbia to bring new anti-corruption law

Nela Kuburovic, Serbia’s Justice Minister, said on Friday the country would bring a new Law on Preventing Corruption, which would define specific issues more precisely, to meet the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) requirement, the Beta news agency reported.

She has addressed an international conference in Belgrade on the occasion of the December 9 International Anti-Corruption Day organised by Italy which presides the OSCE, saying Belgrade's new law followed one of the remarks made earlier in the year by GRECO, the Council of Europe’s (CoE) anti-corruption monitoring body. Serbia has been criticised for the lack of anti-corruption fight by both the CoE and the State Department. 21.05.2018.
