Kosovo president calls for unity

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci on Monday called for political unity among Kosovo Albanian politicians on the negotiations with Belgrade.
Speaking in a meeting with the heads of Pristina’s new delegation Shpend Ahmeti and Fatmir Limaj, Thaci said that the atmosphere created after US President Donald Trump sent a letter to the president of Kosovo and Serbia calling them to reach an agreement should be made use of to reach a legally binding agreement which would secure Serbia’s recognition and membership in the UN, NATO and European Union.
