Serbia welcomes New Year with music and fireworks

Tens of thousands of people welcomed the New 2019 year across Serbia celebrating at cold, at times rainy weather, with live rock and folk music and fireworks, N1 reported.
In the capital Belgrade, the leading outdoor party gathered an estimated 10,000 people outside the country’s parliament and, for the first time in years, an unofficial figure put the cost of the celebration at 420,000 Euros. Last January, an average monthly net salary in the capital was just over 500 Euros, while across the country it was some hundred Euros less.
