Kosovo: Final agreement with Serbia in 2019, taxes on foreign goods in place

The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said on Tuesday that the new year would be marked by a final agreement with Serbia and the opening of the border with Albania, adding 2018 was a year of Kosovo’s army, the FoNet news agency reported.
Pristina started a process of transforming its Security Forces into a military on December 14, supported by the US, UK, and Germany, but without changing the name. NATO said it was a premature move, while Belgrade and some world’s capitals added they were worried by the process, supposed to last up to a decade, saying it could imperil the safety in the region. "While the last year was the year of Kosovo’s army, the next will be marked by a deal
