Pristina: Agreement should make both Kosovo and Serbia feel like winners

The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci told the Epoka e Re daily that Pristina‘s main goal in 2019 was to reach a peaceful agreement with Belgrade which would lead to Serbia‘s recognition of Kosovo independence and its UN membership, the FoNet news agency reported on Wednesday.
Thaci on Tuesday wrote on his Facebook profile that another Pristina's goal for this year was to remove the border between Kosovo and Albania. He told the daily on Wednesday there was a new international energy to solve the open issues among the Western Balkans countries. Thaci said that “in 2018, after 20 odd years, Greece and Macedonia reached an agreement that solved the name issue. The focus now is on a peace deal between Kosovo and Serbia.”
