North Macedonia to start EU negotiations in June or July, PM says

Zoran Zaev, North Macedonia’s Prime Minister, said on Thursday he expected the beginning of the accession talks with the European Union by June or July this year, the Beta news agency reported.
He said Skopje implemented all necessary reforms adding his Government finished “everything envisaged by the Reform Plan 18 which the European Commission approved.” The only remaining issue is a law on prosecution which, as Zaev says, is nearly finished since the consultation with the opposition is in progress.
