Montenegrin Ministry: Stop for pigs from Serbia

The Montenegrin Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has published a list of countries from which the import and transit of live domestic pigs and wild boars, their meat and products are prohibited, in order to prevent swine fever.
According to the Government’s decision on import and transit, the import of pigs from Serbia, i.e. Pirot, Zajecar, Bor, Branicevo and Podunavlje Districts is prohibited, as well as from North Macedonia. Exceptionally, import can be approved for certain meat products and products containing meat originating from domestic pigs only if they meet the requirements prescribed by the order banning the import and transit of live domestic pigs and wild boars, meat and meat
