Statistical Office of Serbia: Employment rate increases in second quarter

In Serbia, 2,953,000 citizens were employed in the second quarter of this year, and the employment rate was 50.9 percent, which is 2.6 percentage points more than at the same time in 2021, according to the Labour Force Survey of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS).
At the same time, in the second quarter of this year, 287,200 unemployed citizens were registered in Serbia, the unemployment rate was 8.9 percent and it was lower by 2.2 percentage points than at the same time last year.
