In cooperation with the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime in Belgrade and Europol, police arrested five individuals—members of an organized criminal group—while two others are still being sought.
Those arrested are N.K. (48), M.Lj. (70), Dj.S. (42), D.B. (46), and D.S. (53), the Interior Ministry said. In an earlier period, in cooperation with investigative authorities in France and Germany, members of the same criminal group were also arrested. In October 2024, on the territory of the Republic of France, a member of the group, V.G. (50), was arrested while attempting to smuggle 570 kilograms of the narcotic drug hashish.
