OFAC extended the license for NIS

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury has extended the license for the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS) to operate until April 17, 2026.
"As President Aleksandar Vučić indicated last night, good news from the U.S. arrived overnight. The license extension for nearly a month is particularly important at this time, when oil prices are rising on the markets day by day. The refinery in Pančevo continues to operate, and supply will remain reliable. Citizens do not need to worry or stockpile; we have sufficient petroleum products," said the Minister of Mining and Energy, Dubravka Djedović Handanović.
