Joan Peñarroya has extended his contract with Partizan until 2028.
The Spanish coach arrived on the hot seat of the black-and-whites after the departure of Željko Obradović and initially signed a contract until the end of next season. However, Peñarroya managed to convince Partizan’s management to further secure his position, especially after strong performances in the final stretch of the EuroLeague season, as well as victories in the "eternal" derby. Thus, the former Barcelona coach has signed a deal until the summer of 2028,
