Partizan’s 2-1 victory over Tobol in the second leg brought the Black-and-Whites not only a place in the play-off round, but also valuable points for Serbia’s national coefficient and a significant financial reward.
UEFA awards one point for a victory in the qualifying rounds. Since Serbia has four representatives in European competitions this season, the point is divided by four. Partizan’s victory in Kazakhstan therefore added 0.250 points to Serbia’s national coefficient. The Black-and-Whites also benefited financially.
