Više desetina osoba je povređeno kada je zemljotres jačine 5,9 stepeni po Rihteru noćas potresao Novi Zeland.
Jak potres osetili su građani Krajstčerča, grada koji je udaljen samo 15 kilometara od epicentra zemljotresa. Hitna pomoć je tokom cele noće dobijala pozive od povređenih građana.
