Serbian environment ministry to help shut down boiler rooms

Serbia’s Environment Minister Goran Trivan said on Friday that his ministry will secure funds to co-finance the closure of boiler rooms in public buildings.

“The idea is to shut down boiler rooms in state-owned buildings such as schools, nurseries, health care centres, municipality buildings,” the minister told an annual ministry news conference, adding that 500 million Dinars (1 Euro – 118 Dinars) has been earmarked for the project.
