Serbia buys 18 sets of electric trains from Stadler

Serbia has ordered 18 electric train compositions of the “Flirt” type from the Swiss train manufacturer Stadler Rail, of the total value of CHF 117 million (EUR 113 million), the media reported.
A spokeswoman for the company confirmed to the Swiss media that this referred to 18 four-piece sets, but she said that the details of the business deal, “at the client’s request”, would only be revealed within the signing of the contract in February.
