Official “flash” estimate: Serbia’s growth in the first quarter 4.3%

Serbia’s real growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2022 was 4.3 percent compared to the same period last year, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (RZS) said on the basis of a flash estimate.
The Serbian government planned GDP growth of 4.5% this year. According to an estimate by international financial institutions, Serbia’s GDP growth will be lower than projected this year due to the global crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.
