The German chancellor said that the signing of the agreement was a joyful occasion. "A happy occasion. We have signed an important agreement that will strengthen our cooperation. The companies that will be involved, along with the institutions, that is something that cannot be estimated... We must reduce our dependencies and discover new sources of raw materials around the world. The decision requires courage, but it was brought at the right moment," Scholz said.
