Entrepreneur Dorian Porter is inspired by Nikola Tesla, and in his honor he started a campaign for placing a life-size statue of the famous scientist in Palo Alto and it serves as a public Wi-Fi router. Nikola Tesla predicted smartphones in 1926! Porter gathered over 127.000 dollars for this project over the Kickstarter site. Statue of Tesla is 1.87 meters tall and made from bronze, sculpted by Terry Gayer. Statue of Tesla is holding a giant
