Belgrade city transport union warns of shortage of drivers

The Belgrade city transport (GSP) company needs between 400 and 600 more drivers and maintenance crew staff, the GSP Nezavisnost Union warned, adding that the attitude towards private bus companies is making the problem worse.
A union statement said that the GSP needs to hire between 200 and 300 drivers and as many maintenance crew and called management and the city authorities to start solving city transport problems by regulating salaries, working conditions and bringing ticket sales back to the GSP.
