Illegal landfill detection app: 2,300 reports in two weeks

In two weeks, the citizens of Serbia submitted about 2,300 reports through the app for the detection of illegal landfills, said permanent representative of the UNDP in Serbia, Francine Pickup.
The app was developed by UNDP, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Environmental Protection Agency, said Pickup at the marking of the World Environment Day in Knez Mihailova Street, adding that the number of reports, i.e. photos sent, shows how much citizens care about the environment. She also stated that everyone should change the old way of behaving towards nature, pointing out that every three seconds a forest the size of a football stadium
