NBS enables agricultural loan reprogramme

The Executive Board of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has adopted the decision enabling the reprogramme of agricultural loans for debtors engaged in the purchase and storage of fruit in order to allow the adequate management of credit risk in the portfolio of agricultural loans in the conditions of difficult agricultural production.
As stated, bearing in mind that it has been established that at the current stage of the agricultural cycle, due to difficult circumstances, and in particular due to reduced demand and unfavourable trends in the prices of raspberries on the international market, persons involved in the chain of production and purchase of fruits, i.e. raspberries, are in a particularly unfavourable position, a reprogramme of liabilities to debtors of the bank engaged in the purchase
