Easter celebrated in Serbia this weekend

The Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates Easter (Uskrs or Vaskrs in Serbian) this weekend under the Julian calendar with Sunday marked as a state holiday.
Most shops, restaurants and some businesses will be open at least part of the day on Good Friday but will not open for business on Sunday, April 28th. The Easter holiday is followed by May 1st which is a state holiday in Serbia. Most shops and businesses will be open on Wednesday, May 1.
