EU donates funds for four mobile substations to Serbia’s power company

The Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) the country’s power company, received financial support from the European Union for new substations for prompt reactions in case of floods and fires, the Beta news agency reported on Thursday.
In normal circumstances, the substations will serve to replace those under the reconstruction. The EU donation is a part of the IPA 2 national programme for Serbia designed to help to remove the consequences of the 2014 floods in Serbia. The part of the donation to be used in distribution is nine million Euros and besides the mobile substations will help to develop the remote control and management of the medium voltage network in the central
