State TV staff joins Monday’s student protest in Belgrade

On Monday, Serbian state TV (RTS) staff joined the student protest in Belgrade by blocking traffic outside the RTS headquarters.
Photo: Srđan Ristić / Cenzolovka The Cenzolovka media freedom portal shared a photo on X showing RTS employees blocking the road in front of the state TV building in downtown Belgrade, holding banners that read, “RTS Employees” and “Demands Have Not Been Met.” Belgrade University students initiated a 24-hour roadblock at a major junction in the Serbian capital on Monday morning.
