Official: Tomašević appointed head of the Olympic Committee of Serbia

Former basketball national team player Dejan Tomašević has been elected in Belgrade as the new president of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OKS).

Tomašević has succeeded Božidar Maljković as president of the Olympic Committee of Serbia (OKS). The former basketball player was unanimously elected as OKS president at the first regular session of the OKS Assembly for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle. During his career, he played for Borac, Crvena zvezda, Partizan, Budućnost, Tau Ceramica (Baskonia), Pamesa (Valencia), Panathinaikos, and PAOK.
